Nicole Style Shoot

Nicole... A great friend of mine. I need a model and she was ready! I think this is actually my first stylized shoot, and it was styled pretty quickly... I mean like 3hrs ahead. Haha, I started scrambling around my house looking for fun props and head bands and such... This is what we came up with!

I know, I know, iv been MIA lately. Very busy with work, and with the best thing in the world, Photography.

Weddings are a big deal, and these brides are very worrisome, although im sure i would be too! Everything needs to be over planned, organized, and perfect!

We had fun with the water, and the sun. It was a beautiful day in Kemah, TX. Lucky for us it did warm up to a good 70degrees this Saturday morning. My favorite was definitely the wooden doors with the cut out moon. The colors on the Light house are so pretty. She was very playful, and you can see from the photos how much energy and happiness she brought to her shoot. A natural with the camera. Nicole's Dress was gorgeous, of course now it needs to visit the cleaners before her wedding on April 3, 2010! Look below and you will see!

Althought the flowers do not bloom to well in the winter, and boy was it cold. Between the baby sleeping and the four year old as shy as can be we got through this brightly colored sky and cold air and I believe the photos turned out fantastic! It was still muddy out, maybe next shoot we can go to a shopping mall, or something cemented. Who's up for a graffiti wall!? Sounds like fun! This was fun too... typical teenage boys "do we have to do that?" Haha, They became more comfortable in front of the camera as I did behind it as the hour went on. I love the ones by the wooden fence, and the lake is always a fun touch!

Thank you Kelly for letting K.Photography take your photos and I hope you all enjoy them and come back again, hopefully when the sun is brighter and the land is dryer!

It was wet, and slightly cold. Rain was about to start poring down but nothing could stop us. Litterally, Falling from trees, ants in the pants (that was me lol), and twisting of the knee. Each of these photos has such a story, mostly pretty funny :) Kayla, Thanks for going on this morning adventure with me and being such a great and beautiful model!

My good looking friends and parents Chris and Carla Gaines, and their two beautiful children Conner and Calista.

Its December, and that means time for the Holidays! We took a few photo shots inside their home by the christmas tree hoping to take a great one to send to friends and family. We got a little creative and put the baby in the laundy basket! Then we went to their front yard where you can see in the photos, the beautiful colors at the end of fall, nearing the winter season. We shot these the day after the early Houston snow, so it was cold out! You will see how energized and entertaining their son Conner is playing with the Family Dog! :)

Wow! My first post. My first Blog. K.Photography, WELCOME friends, family, and clients. I hope you all stay tuned as I grow with my work. My name is Kelly. I'm 24 yrs old and I grew up in what used to be the little town of Pearland Tx. I say used to be, because Pearland is the fastest growing city in the Houston area, imagine that! I'm a Senior Secretary at MD Anderson by day, and a photographer... well by any other time I can. If I'm not taking pictures, im thinking about the next ones I will be taking. I'm full of energy and happy emotions. I have two wonderful children and a great man by my side, every step of the way. I'm so thankful to have them in my life.
